Who flies Vancouver to Delhi
We checked this on 16 October 2026 using airline schedules and aviation news. Schedules change, so the booking sites always have the latest flights.
Nonstop
- Air India flies nonstop every day in both directions.
- Air Canada doesn't fly Vancouver to Delhi. It stopped in 2022.
With one stop
- Cathay Pacific through Hong Kong and Turkish Airlines through Istanbul.
- British Airways or Air Canada through London, Lufthansa through Frankfurt, Air France through Paris and KLM through Amsterdam.
- No Gulf airline flies to Vancouver, so Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad trips mean flying to Toronto or the US first.
Worth knowing
- Air India cut this route to five flights a week for parts of 2025 and 2026. It's back to daily nonstop flights now.
Documents you need
On a Canadian passport
- An Indian e-Visa or an OCI card. Apply for the e-Visa at least four days before you fly, and only on the Indian government's site, indianvisaonline.gov.in.
- A passport that's valid for at least six months after you land, with two blank pages.
- An e-Arrival Card, filled in online in the 72 hours before you land. Everyone on a foreign passport needs one, including OCI card holders.
On an Indian passport, visiting Canada
- A Canadian visitor visa or a super visa. Indian citizens can't use an eTA.
- Changing planes in London needs a UK transit visa, unless you already hold a valid Canadian visa.
- Changing planes in Frankfurt doesn't need a transit visa any more, since June 2026.
- Any connection in the United States needs a US visa, even if you don't leave the airport.
